Some say they come for the cars and stay for the rest.

People's love of cars is ageless - wherever there are cars there are car lovers.

And those classic cars are such a big part of the Elvis Presley and rock 'n roll era - they're a big part of the Parkes Elvis Festival Street Parade too.

The likes of Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Dodges, Ford MGs and Thunderbirds help to lead the parade which was held on Saturday morning, and are also scattered through the entrant line-up.

Many an Elvii and a Priscilla or two, even Marilyn Monroe, are escorted a top of these beauties.

The festival's international tribute artists Cote Deonath, Emilio Santoro and Riley Jenkins, 2025 Miss Priscilla Gracey Denham-Jones and other Elvis Tribute Artists were among those riding in cars on Saturday.
