The Miss Priscilla Dinner keeps growing in popularity and Thursday's event was simply buzzing.
It was a full house in the Starlight Room at the Parkes Services Club with tickets sold out before the Parkes Elvis Festival started.
About 250 guests rocked some groovy threads while they were treated to some of the festival's best entertainers - ETA Brendon Chase, rising star Charlie Gaylard and local favourites Amitie - and a lot of laughs.
Five Miss Priscilla entrants - Vivian Tosetti and Gracey Denham-Jones both of Parkes, Jessica Borg from Jervis Bay, Lulu Wagner of Sydney and Samantha Corrone from the Gold Coast - were introduced to the audience, the night of course culminating in the announcement of the Face of the Festival, the 2025 Miss Priscilla, being Gracey Denham-Jones. You can read about Gracey in a separate story on our website.
There was also an Easy Come Easy Go best dressed competition for the men and women.
Coincidently husband and wife team Scott and Annie McAleer from Jervis Bay won the two competitions separately. Scott in his army uniform and Annie swinging a purple sequined tassle dress she made herself.
Scott is attending his eighth festival and Annie her seventh.
But the highlights didn't stop there - each year organisers aim to do something special with the dinner and this year became a McGrath Foundation fundraiser. Read more on this in a separate story on our website.
With local auctioneer Geoff Rice the MC for the evening, there were speeches, a raffle and live auction, and $4890 raised on the night.
