See Melody's chalk art at the Parkes Hotel

Forbes artist Melody Ruhrmund has turned her creative focus this week to a little mural on the outside wall of the Parkes Hotel to delight those attending this year's Parkes Elvis Festival.

She's swapped her paint brushes for chalk and has drawn a sizeable mural that she'll continue working and building on over the course of the festival.

Melody began the mural last Thursday and the rain over the last few days has luckily not impacted the illustrations.

"I didn't want to draw little Elvis' every where, I wanted to focus on what Elvis was all about," she said.

"I like what he inspires and why people like him.

"It's a graffiti wall."

If you're passing by or out and about for the festival, why not stop by the Parkes Hotel to take a look at Melody's work, she'd love for you to see it.
